Ingredients
3 eggs
1 tsp salt
2 oz vegetable oil
2 tsps salt for water
4 cups floor
½ lb butter or margarine
2 cups milk
Dishes needed:
1 large bowl
1 small sieve
1 large pan
1 large sieve
1 large Pyrex dish
1 large plastic bowl

Instruction
Mix eggs, oil, milk and salt in a bowl. Add water or a little more flour until dough is smooth but not too thick. Let it stand for 10 minutes. Fill large pan with water up to 2 inches away from top. Bring water to boil and add salt.
Place Spaetzel make on the large pan, fill grater with part of the dough and grate it into the boiling water. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes until dough pieces rise to the top of water. Place large sieve in the plastic bowl, use small sieve to removed the cooked dough from the pan into the large sieve, put it under the running water from sink just to remove the starch, then empty it into the Pyrex dish. Put some of the butter or margarine on top of it, cover with lid and put into oven under low heat. Repeat this process until all dough is used up.
